Another shocking testimony about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ violent behaviour towards Casandra “Cassie” Ventura was revealed in court on Monday amid the rapper’s sex trafficking trial.
Cassie’s best friend Kerry Morgan took the stand, recalling turbulent events that unfolded after the 2016 hotel assault was caught on camera.
Ventura, who had a black eye from being kicked, dragged, and beaten in the hotel lobby, “had her hoodie over her head and she was kind of slumped,” Morgan told the Manhattan courtroom, per People Magazine.
About 30 minutes later, Combs showed up to Ventura’s apartment and tried to break down her door with a hammer.
“He was hitting the door with a hammer to try and open it,” she testified. “He was yelling. I could hear him.”
On one occasion, Combs allegedly assaulted Morgan as well using a wooden hanger.
“He came up behind me and choked me, and boomeranged a wooden hanger around my head,” Morgan testified, per the outlet.
Ventura eventually signed a non-disclosure agreement with Combs for $30,000, Morgan testified on the sixth day of the sex trafficking and racketeering trial.
